International cooperation
In November 2023, a delegation from the National Association of Cooperatives and Other Forms of Economic Communities of the Republic of Kazakhstan visited the People's Republic of China, where they met with colleagues from the All-China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives (ACFSMC).
The All-China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives (ACFSMC) is the highest unified organization of supply and marketing cooperatives in China. It operates under the direct leadership of the State Council of the People's Republic of China and holds a ministerial-level administrative status, which highlights its significance within the national management system.
The ACFSMC consists of 32 million members and 37,000 cooperatives.

ACFSMC Operational Statistics
- Retail Network: The ACFSMC retail network includes 341,000 sales and distribution outlets across China, including supermarkets, department stores, and convenience stores.
- Wholesale Network: It operates a wholesale network of more than 1,200 wholesale markets for agricultural products.
- Online Platforms: Online platforms like the "832 Platform" and "China E-Coop" provide daily access to millions of online shoppers, offering 400,000 product items.
- Total Turnover: The combined turnover amounts to 7.3 trillion yuan, which is more than 520 trillion tenge or over 1 trillion USD.
In August 2024, the National Association of Cooperatives and Other Forms of Economic Communities of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted a delegation from the All-China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives (ACFSMC) in the cities of Astana and Almaty.
In September 2024, the National Association of Cooperatives and Other Forms of Economic Communities of the Republic of Kazakhstan signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the All-China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives (ACFSMC) in Beijing, China.
In December 2024, the President of the National Association of Cooperatives and Other Forms of Economic Communities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazybek Shaykh, participated in the Forum of Cooperatives of Asian and Pacific Region countries.
In May 2025, the National Association of Cooperatives and Other Forms of Economic Communities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in collaboration with the All-China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives (ACFSMC), launched the "30 Breakthrough Projects" Competition (more details) and an acceleration program for exporting Kazakh goods to the shelves of ACFSMC's Chinese stores (more details).
